Accommodation

Except during summer vacation, the University of Greenwich does not have accommodation to rent. We have compiled a list of hotels which are close by, or conveniently located on transport routes for Greenwich. East London hotels near DLR

The commercial development of Canary Wharf has led to the establishment of many hotels in the north of the Isle of Dogs that are conveniently linked to Greenwich via the Docklands Light Railway. Cutty Sark DLR station is right next to the University of Greenwich conference site.

The Youth Hostel Association has a two-star hostel in Rotherhithe, on the 188 bus route to Greenwich.

The Imperial London Hotels group has six large moderately-priced hotels in the Bloomsbury area of London, all very close to the Russell Square terminus of the 188 bus route – which passes directly alongside the University of Greenwich Maritime Campus where IDC 2009 is being held. Ideal for those planning to spend the weekend in London.
